Stories, a must, a trust

In my belief stories are so important to be told often to children as it improves their imagination, creativity and educate their emotions. Lots and lots of sites, programs and blogs promote this idea and many of us create or remember stories to make toddlers listen and learn. One thing is important: watch, read and try to feel the story you are about to read to your kid. Never let aggression, to much crying or too much laughing take the learning away from it. Children are like a sponge, they assimilate lots of information but you have to be sure that what they learn it's right.

British Council and many others came up with some tips for using stories and if you search carefully you may find lots of cd's or books to buy too. Tom and Jerry is nice but be careful what's next; Bambi is a great example but make sure not other type of animated "stuff" land on you cub's magic land.

Some may say that this way is too protective, or may find this idea a bad one. I will never have the power to establish what's the best for everyone's children, I only say and write what's good and right.

                                                                                                                                  Wish you all good luck!
